Over the last two years,
Exceptional Beginnings has focused our efforts to mothers and their families who are
pregnant or have recently given birth.
We are excited to now offer
Adoption Services to families!
For the birth mother and family...
Choosing to place your baby up for adoption is a bitter sweet time. While you know you are giving your child the opportunity to have a
life you may not be able to provide, you are still left with
hurt and grief over your loss.
Our doulas can help you during this time. We offer the following:
Doula Services- we are experienced doulas who have worked with many mothers during labor and delivery who are facing an upcoming placement.
Postpartum- Assistance with any postpartum needs as well as support with lactation (breastfeeding) IF that is an option
Recovery- Emotion support as well as guidance and support with your physical recovery.

For the adoptive mother and family...
Adoption is a wonderful experience. You are building an incredible family and possibly saving a life.
Even though adoption is a good thing it can come with emotional instabilities. Through personal experience we can offer
emotional support you and your family. Sometimes society is not very understanding of the decision we make. That is why we are here to listen and provide emotional support to get you through this wonderful journey in your life.
