Prenatal Counseling
As doulas we truly value labor support and believe that there should be a doula for every woman who wants one! We truly believe in what doulas do and believe that their presence has proven positive benefits for mothers, partners, and babies!
However we are also realistic and understand that for whatever reasons some people don't want the full labor and delievery support BUT are still interested in many of our prenatal services. Many people come to us looking for assistance in writing a birth plan or basic prenatal care options and advice.
For those people we are excited to now offer two options:
1. Childbirth Education- Childbirth Education is a great way for any parent (regarless of experience) to connect with others and learn more about your body and all your options during your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experiences. Childbirth Education is HIGHLY reccommened for all people expecting a child and we are proud to be Lamaze Trained Educators who offer a full range of service!
(all of our Exceptional Beginnings doula clients receive a 25% discount on Childbirth Education Services and full access to our extensive Lending Library)
2. Prenatal Counseling- We are so excited to now offer this service. For an hourly fee (with a one hour min.) you and your support person can have access to all of our exlusive Exceptional Beginnings Birth Plan information, hospital and labor option expertise, and labor support knowledge. We guarentee that this will be a time of learning and training for you and your partner and that this will help put any last minute anxieties you may be feeling behind you!
